Does sharing emotion allow others to do the same?
Process:
My tribute video the Philadelphia Phillies was made using other fans' videos on YouTube, a brief history of the city's sports history and the Rocky theme music. This video inspired viewers to leave comments that this video made them cry. I then created a graph to visualize this phenomenon.
Designed Outcomes
A video tribute to the Philadelphia Phillies and a graph of viewers' reactions to that video.
Takeaway Lesson:
- If you listen closely, you can hear as a city holds its Collective Breath.
- Viewer comments are often more revealing than the videos themselves.
- As a designer, there are some projects that you just need to do for yourself.
Unintended Result:
- McQueensMustang, silkcity19 and smokesdawg8 all admitted to crying.
